Polish fans are rubbing their hands for the double excitement of the Poles’ start at the big event in the English capital. Marcin Tybura has accustomed his fans to quite a lot of activity. The popular “Tybur” fought three fights in the UFC in 2024.
The situation is different for Jan Blachowicz, who has been on a very long break due to injuries and shoulder surgery. It was Janek’s pause that was one of the topics of conversation in the Polsat Sport studio.
Marcin Tybura is keeping his fingers firmly crossed for his compatriot, with whom he is teaming up. The heavyweight contender admitted that Blachowicz is close to fighting for the belt again.
– A break can act in two ways. On the one hand, there can be training rust or a drop in motivation. On the other hand, a break can also act in such a way that this motivation is much higher, because one gets hungry. So it is difficult to predict. I don’t analyze Janek, I just cheer for him, because I like him a lot. He is a nice guy and I still think that he is not far away from fighting for the belt.
Marcin Tybura will face undefeated Mick Parkin at the London gala. Jan Blachowicz will appear in the second most important fight of the evening, and his opponent will be Carlos Ulberg.
