Marcin Tybura has responded to the challenge thrown by Waldo Cortes-Acosta. The Pole wants to drag his rival to the deep end and prove to him the difference in skill level.
Marcin Tybura registered a win at the UFC gala in London, and just after the gala he admitted that he would very much like to fight Sergei Pavlovich. The Pole also admitted that it’s time to look ahead again, rather than taking fights against much younger lower ranked opponents.
In early April, Waldo Cortes-Acosta posted a video online in which he addressed Dana White and Marcin Tybura. The Dominican Republic-born fighter said.
– Hey, hey Dana White. If my man Derrick Lewis is not ready for April or May then I want to fight Marcin Tybura. Come to me, I’m ready for you. Let’s do it.
Marcin Tybura responds to Waldo’s challenge
Marcin Tybura decided after a time to respond to the challenge thrown by Waldo. The experienced Pole gave Cortes-Acosta a clear warning.
– Be careful what you wish for Salsa Dip. So far you’ve been playing with your kids in the wading pool, and now you want to swim in deep water with sharks. I can prove to you that there are level differences in this game.
Perhaps Tybura received some preliminary information on whether there is a chance to fight Pavlovich and therefore decided to respond to Waldo, who is ranked 11th in the heavyweight division rankings.
However, it is worth mentioning that Martin was resting on vacation in Namibia, and perhaps the Dominican challenge simply arrived a little late.
