Marcin Wojcik moves up to the heavyweight category

Marcin Wojcik is moving to the heavyweight category. KSW Federation published a short material in which the fighter’s decision was confirmed.

Today confirmed what has been talked about behind the scenes in recent weeks. Marcin Wojcik has made the decision to move up to the heavyweight category. The experienced 36-year-old fighter will therefore no longer have to struggle with the arduous process of making weight.

In the past, Marcin already scored a KSW start in the heavyweight division when he defeated Hatef Moeil at KSW 42. It’s worth mentioning, by the way, that shortly after that clash Wojcik scored a performance in the middleweight division. This shows that although the light-heavyweight category was the leading one for the Giant, he was also not afraid to look for other solutions.

Now apparently, the fighter from Saw decided that in order to continue training under coach Damian Herczyk and sparring with Rafal Haratyk, it would be better to move up a division. Of course, Wojcik’s decision will have an impact on future changes in the rankings of the two categories.

Listed at the top of the light heavyweight division, Marcin will free up space for another fighter. On the other hand, in case of scoring a successful fight in the heavyweight category, the veteran can stir a lot at the top of the ranking of the royal division.
