Marek Bujlo was released from the UFC after an unsuccessful debut in the organization. It is worth noting the strange behavior and approach of the matchmaker.
Marek Bujlo fought his premiere fight in the octagon of the UFC organization last weekend. At the gala in Qatar, the Pole faced American Denzel Freeman, for whom it was also his debut in the world’s best MMA league.
Unfortunately, at least for the moment, this will be Bujło’s last fight in the UFC. This is because, unexpectedly, bad information has surfaced online suggesting that the heavyweight Pole fighter has been fired by a UFC matchmaker.
The information was provided by Bartosz Bartkowiak, manager of the fighter from Elk who stressed that Bujlo suffered a foot injury during his fight with Denzel Freeman.
– The brutal truth of the market that few people talk about? Business always comes first. Mark’s foot… most likely a metatarsal fracture, sprained ankle and heck knows what else. Fight boring, conservative, did not thrill. Lost deservedly 28:29, and the third round fought with a violated foot. A huge amount of material for analysis and improvement. No one here will spell reality that it was a thrilling show, because it was not. After the fight, the UFC’s assurance that nothing happened, that it was only a debut, that you can’t break down. Inquiring about the state of health, engaging with the subject, everything according to art. At the time I even shared on social media my feelings, because they were positive. It was possible to feel that someone cares about you and gets involved.
The manager highlighted the strange behavior of the matchmaker, who offered Mark another fight knowing that the fighter has a foot injury and will not be able to fight at the moment.
– Today (26.11, so four days after the fight) a message from the matchmaker with an offer to fight at UFC 324 in Las Vegas (24.01). Knowing that the fighter currently can’t even move normally, and about pairing or kicking not even mentioning. Knowing exactly what the injury was, seeing photos, being informed as early as November 24 that the foot was affected. Forcibly refusing the fight proposal, because health is the most important above any money, numbered galas and media hustle. The result? A dismissal. Two days after assurances that everything is ok, in his own way forcing the fighter to take a fight with a serious injury. How else to take it under such circumstances? UFC Pany, UFC.
Unfortunately, the consequence of refusing to participate in the January gala fight is immediate dismissal from the UFC organization.
