Marian Ziolkowski was extremely unhappy with his performance at KSW 112. After losing to Marcin Held, the fighter admitted that he was lying like a sprat to avoid being submitted.

Marian Ziolkowski didn’t put on his best show at Saturday’s KSW 112 gala in Szczecin. The charge of trainer Robert Jocz was hoping to record another win in the KSW round cage. However, this did not happen, as he let his rival dominate him in the first two rounds.

For Golden Boy it was the third defeat in a row, which makes it hard for him to count on fights with other fighters from the top of the lightweight division ranking. Most likely, Ziolkowski will now have to accept a clash with a decidedly lesser-known opponent.

Marian Ziolkowski after losing to Held

Marian Ziolkowski did not hide his disappointment with his stance, which he candidly talked about in an interview with Artur Mazur on Klatka by Klatka.

– I’m angry with myself that in the first round I did practically nothing, and in the second round I was lying like a sprite and just writhing to avoid being submitted.

Ziolkowski also commented on statements made by some people who suggest he end his career. Marian is not going anywhere and intends to continue competing in KSW.

– I will not give up. I will fight all the time. There is no option to give up. Even if people say I’m weak, that I’m not up to it. So what?

The 35-year-old Warsaw native has 37 professional MMA fights to his credit. However, it’s worth mentioning that Marian debuted in 2011 and only lost twice by knockout is not, so he is not a broken fighter.
