Mariusz Pudzianowski has been fighting in KSW for many years, will he now fight a bout outside the federation? It turns out that contract talks on the subject are underway.
Mariusz Pudzianowski has been fighting in KSW since December 2009. During his long career, the former strongman world champion has fought just once outside the cage of Europe’s top MMA organization. On May 21, 2010, Pudzianowski faced Tim Sylvia at the Moosin gala in the US. At the time, the veteran taught the Pole a stern lesson.
Since then, Pudzianowski has fought 24 fights, all in the KSW round cage. Now rumors have surfaced about Mariusz’s alleged contract negotiations with one of the freak organizations. In the past, Pudzianowski has said he was not interested in such starts, but apparently something has changed in this regard.
The surprising news was reported by Artur Mazur, a reporter for WP’s Sportowe Fakty. The reporter, who has regularly interviewed the sports director and owner of KSW for many years, said.
– Some of our sources even claimed that the deal had already been initialed. Other informants, however, argue that the parties still have not reached an agreement on several points and final decisions must wait, but the matter is a foregone conclusion.
Asked on Klatka po Klatka about Pudzianowski’s contract situation, Wojslaw Rysiewski did not answer and conveyed that the popular Pudzian’s affairs are handled by Martin Lewandowski, one of the two owners of the KSW federation, and it is with him that the subject should be discussed.
According to behind-the-scenes rumors, Mariusz Pudzianowski would fight at the FAME 25 freak gala and would duel two opponents at the same time, in the recently popular 2-on-1 format. Pudzian’s alleged opponents would be Natan Marcoń and Adrian Cios.
