Martin Lewandowski explained the delay in officially announcing the name of Mariusz Pudzianowski’s opponent at the KSW 100th anniversary gala.

More days and weeks pass, and the KSW organization still has not announced the name of Mariusz Pudzianowski ‘s opponent at the XTB KSW 100 gala in Gliwice. Fans are demanding concrete moves from the federation.

Martin Lewandowski, one of the two co-owners of KSW, has commented on the reasons for the delay. During a conversation with reporter Michal Tuszynski of FanSport, the KSW owner explained.

– But then you come, ask questions, extend the time, and Mariusz is waiting for me with Basia, because we are supposed to go to talk ,” began the KSW boss jokingly. – And now so completely seriously…. I have to hit my breast here. The fact that it takes so long is the result of my very long talks with my opponent, who de facto did not recognize, as if this fight did not see the light of day, was not announced. The competitor, first of all, private things had to give up and it took me a long time.

– At the moment when I set myself that I’m almost agreed with the man, suddenly it turns out that suddenly this fight will not happen. And the whole process started all over again. So it’s a matter of a long process, for which I can only apologize,” Lewandowski said.

Michal Tuszynski only asked at the end if the three: Parobiec, Thompson, Zimmerman remain in the game, or if someone “dropped out of the casting”? – Well there is… – added the KSW chief with a smile. So it seems, then, that there is one concrete rival for Pudzianowski with whom Lewandowski is currently finalizing talks.
