This past weekend KSW 106 gala was held. KSW Federation once again visited France, this time choosing Lyon, rather than Paris, which is well known to fans. It turned out to be a hit. Although the score in the France-Poland match was 7:1, it’s hard not to get the impression that in the case of this KSW gala it was mainly about pleasing French fans and giving them not only a well-packaged product, but also victories for the hosts.

At the KSW 106 gala, such French stars as Salahdine Parnasse and Laid Zerhouni checked into the round cage, while potential title challenger Amin Ayoub also recorded a successful debut.

Martin Lewandowski has extensively summarized the third KSW gala in France. The head of the federation wrote on Instagram.

This was the 3rd gala in France, but for the first time in the city of Lyon, and it was a fire right away! For me – a man who has been watching the development of MMA for 21 years – this is something much bigger than a change of venue.

This is another step on the path we are creating together. It’s proof that MMA is crossing borders, reaching where it had no right to exist just a few years ago. (Ps: Officially, MMA has been legal in France since 2020). And today? It arouses excitement, clubs are being established, more and more young people are starting to practice MMA….

Fights – firecracker. The French MMA scene is developing rapidly, and with each event the potential of the fighters there becomes more and more apparent. This market has a future – and I’m proud that KSW can take part in its development.

Atmosphere – unmatchable. From the first fight opening the gala to the main event – it was the pure essence of combat sports: tension, character, versatility, true sports emotions.

The public – TOP! One of the better in Europe! Full of initiatives, lively reactions. 8500 fans who were definitely co-creators of the night! Without fans this sport does not exist.

I congratulate all the winners, and wish the losers to learn constructive lessons on the way forward. Thank you: for your trust, for your presence in the arena and in front of the screens. For showing how MMA is alive in France!

The KSW Federation is already planning a return to France. Previously, there was much talk that the next event would take place in September, but now the latest behind-the-scenes information suggests that KSW, however, is targeting the end of the year, specifically December.
