Conor McGregor keeps mentioning a return to the UFC. Jorge Masvidal doesn’t believe it much, who openly stated that if the Irishman is to return somewhere it’s to the bar.
Conor McGregor met with Dan Hooker over the weekend and, while still at the BKFC gala, announced that he wants to return to the UFC octagon as early as February 1 for a fight against the aforementioned New Zealander.
Jorge Masvidal does not believe in the Irishman’s return. The former BMF belt holder believes that if McGregor were to return somewhere it would be to the bar rather than the cage.
– Surely, we will see him when he returns! Probably to some bar. Are you asking about his appearance in the cage? As a judge, chairman or other stakeholder? Do you mean fighting? I don’t think he’s going to come back. I hope he proves me wrong, but I don’t think so.
It’s worth mentioning that it’s not just McGregor’s return that would be something that would excite fans. Jorge Masvidal would also like to return to the octagon of the best MMA league in the world. Dana White recently spoke on the matter. When asked if we would see Masvidal in the octagon again, the UFC president quickly quashed the topic.
– Probably not.
