Mateusz Gamrot is close to returning to the octagon of the UFC organization, the Pole announced that talks are underway for another appearance in the world’s best MMA league.
Mateusz Gamrot flew to Florida last week. At first Gamer acclimatized after the long flight, however, it’s high time to roll up his sleeves to work even harder. The Red Dragon and American Top Team fighter is ranked eighth in the UFC lightweight rankings.
Mateusz Gamrot fought his last fight in August 2024 at UFC 305. Time flies fast and in February it will be six months since Gamrot’s last UFC octagon appearance. Matthew gave his fans some good news, his manager is in talks for his next fight.
– A week since our arrival and the acclimatization has been exemplary, starting tomorrow we are already moving strongly in the hall! Talks are already underway about our next appearance in the UFC so I think something will be known soon and I will share this information with you.
There are several potential rivals, the problem is that fighters listed by Gamrotem have fights contracted between them, such as the recently announced Justin Gaethje vs Dan Hooker clash.
Other high-profile opponents are getting along dueling with each other. Charles Oliveira and Max Holloway would like to fight for the BMF belt. Arman Tsarukyan, on the other hand, is thinking about another bout with a Brazilian after dropping out of UFC 311.
The only possible and available option from the fighters listed by Gamrot seems to be Michael Chandler. However, it is possible that the Pole will get a chance to make up for his defeat to Beneil Dariush, who is ranked just behind Mateusz, but still in the top ten of the rankings, which seems to be crucial.
