Mateusz Gamrot responded to Arman Tsarukyan’s entry. The Pole suggested that the former rival should stop looking for easy fights and face him in a rematch.
Mateusz Gamrot is still training hard at American Top Team and looking at what is currently happening in the lightweight division. Ranked eighth in the UFC, the Pole has been loudly clamoring for his next bout, but even though more weeks are passing there are still no specifics on the matter.
Arman Tsarukyan posted an entry directed at Paddy Pimblett. The leading lightweight fighter did not tolerate the insults from the Englishman and, outraged by his words, expressed his desire to resolve the conflict in the octagon.
– Said the guy who got the easiest way to the top of the UFC, just because he has a funny accent and a cheap Beatles haircut. We’ll see if you challenge me when you win. Then we’ll see who piles up when we meet in the octagon, clown.
Mateusz Gamrot reacts to Tsarukyan’s words
These words of Tsarukyan were very quickly addressed by Mateusz Gamrot. The Pole made the matter clear by suggesting that Arman picks easy rivals.
– Stop looking for easy fights, especially with this clown. Without ambition, you will never become a champion. You have a chance for a rematch, so accept it.
Of course, from the perspective of Polish fans, a rematch fight between Gamrot and Tsarukyan would be of great interest. Unfortunately, it seems that the cards are held by Paddy Pimblett, who, in the event of a win against Chandler, can pull an ace out of his sleeve and challenge Tsarukyan in a post-fight interview straight from the octagon.
