Mateusz Gamrot ready for a quick comeback: UFC prompts…

Mateusz Gamrot has spoken out on his upcoming plans. The Polish UFC fighter posted a video on social media, in which he revealed that he remains in full readiness for his next appearance in the octagon.

Even before his last fight with Esteban Ribovics, “Gamer” announced that he would like to appear at an ADCC event held in Poland in September. However, all indications are that before the grappling challenges come, the former KSW champion may fight again in the UFC.

The clash with Ribovics worked out perfectly for the Pole. Gamrot dominated the Argentinian and ended the duel already in the second round by submission. For “Gamer” it was a particularly important victory, as he had been missing an impressive finish before time for a long time. The win also allowed him to strengthen his position at the top of the lightweight category rankings.

Significantly, the Pole rebuilt himself after a difficult defeat to Charles Oliveira. In addition, he once again had to face an opponent ranked lower in the rankings, which does not necessarily bring him closer to fighting for the highest goals in the division. Nevertheless, Gamrot does not intend to slow down.

Gamrot ready for a quick comeback

In the published video, Matthew Gamrot admitted that the UFC is already asking him about his future plans and a potential date for his next appearance.

– Some highlights… We started the week very strongly, with solid wrestling. The UFC is also hinting at what plans, so I’m also on standby all the time,” communicated “Gamer” in a video posted on his social media.

The Pole also revealed that he plans to return to American Top Team, where he wants to prepare for a possible fight in the summer.

– In June I think I will fly to ATT to possibly be ready for July,” added the Pole.

Thus, everything indicates that fans may see Mateusz Gamrot in the octagon sooner than initially expected. If the UFC indeed decides to put the Pole together already at one of its July galas, “Gamer” may get another chance to cement his position at the top of the lightweight category.
