Mateusz Gamrot received an offer to fight Arman Tsarukyan

Mateusz Gamrot has received a contract offer to fight Arman Tsarukyan, but it is not a UFC clash, but a grappling bout in Moscow.

Mateusz Gamrot faced Arman Tsarukyan in June 2022 at the UFC gala in Las Vegas. The extremely impressive duel ended with the Pole winning by unanimous decision of the judges. Fans, experts and other fighters alike appreciated the high level of the clash at the time.

Mateusz Gamrot, via social media, gave an update on the receipt of a proposal for a skirmish with Arman Tsarukyan.

– I again received an offer for a grappling fight with Arman. People want to see our clash again. However, I think we should fight in the UFC octagon first.

As Gamrot revealed, this is not the first time he has received an official offer to fight a grappling bout with a fighter from Armenia. The Pole made it clear that while people want to see them fight, he believes the fighters should meet in the UFC octagon in an MMA rules fight.

Arman Tsarukyan is currently ranked second in the lightweight division while Mateusz Gamrot is ranked eighth. Without a doubt, a potential win over Ahalkalakets could give Gamrot a pass to fight for the UFC championship belt.
