Mateusz Gamrot has responded to the challenge of a rival he has already faced in the UFC.
Mateusz Gamrot is currently in Florida, where he is honing his form with American Top Team. Recently, the Pole posted a photo from a joint training session with Renato Moicano. Over the weekend, meanwhile, Gamrot posted a photo with Dustin Poirier and a short caption.
– What a strong end to the week. First 5 x 5 with Dustin, and then still an 8 km run. now a well-deserved rest for the weekend, it will be useful for sure – nice if it lasted from 4 days.
Recently, the Pole complained that top fighters in the UFC organization omit him from their statements. Gamrot even stated that Michael Chandler is a coward. The aforementioned Dustin Poirier, answering fans’ questions, stated that he would not take the fight with Rafael Fiziev.
The Red Dragon fighter has a completely different approach to a rematch with Fiziev. Mateusz Gamrot has responded to a challenge from his former rival, stating that he wants a rematch with the elite grappler.
– I like your approach. No easy fights. 5 rounds with you sounds great.
I like you attitude #noeasyfights

Mateusz Gamrot apparently bored with his situation and the lack of offers for more fights has decided to take matters into his own hands. The Pole has previously said that he is interested in rematches with Beneil Dariush and Rafael Fiziev.
Ataman and his manager, however, mentioned that the ideal date for his return to the octagon is a gala to be held on February 1 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Such a date may also suit the Pole although it is not impossible that he will seek a fight in the US.
