Mateusz Rębecki aims high: “You’ll see the belt is within reach”

Mateusz Rębecki is aiming high and assures that he will surprise the fans. The Berserkers Team representative believes that he is not at all far from fighting for the UFC belt.

Mateusz Rębecki fought his last fight in the UFC octagon at the end of October 2024. The Pole defeated Myktybek Orolbai on points after a strong fight. Rêbecki already had an offer to return to competition this year, however, he was ill and gave the matchmakers a further date than the one the Americans expected.

The situation has unfortunately reflected badly as May is coming to an end, and the Berserkers Team fighter still hasn’t fought in 2025. This means that “Rebeasti” has already paused for seven months. After weeks of training at American Top Team, the Szczecinian returned to Poland, but recently went overseas again.

Mateusz Rębecki is aiming high and believes he can reach for the UFC championship title. The Berserkers Team representative wrote on his profile.

– The most important thing is to aim high, don’t be ashamed of it and speak out about it. I want to be the best and I will strive for it. I will surprise you yet, you will see, the belt is within reach.

Polish fans are waiting for good news and for confirmation of Mateusz Rębecki’s next fight. With the current layout, it seems that the fighter competing in the lightweight division should fight a bout during the vacations, unless someone else gets injured and there is a chance to jump in as a replacement.
