Mateusz Rębecki first talked about rest and a break now, however, the Pole announced the end of his vacation and asked fans about who he should face in his next fight.
Mateusz Rębecki fought his last fight in late October at the UFC 308 gala in Abu Dhabi. The Pole defeated then Myktybek Orolbai after a very impressive fight. Rębecki and his opponent earned bonuses for the best fight of the evening for this bout.
Shortly after the clash, Rêbecki announced that he would not like to quickly return to the UFC octagon only to quietly heal his battle wounds and rest a bit. Mateusz also talked about how he would like to properly invest the money earned for the fight with Orolbai.
However, the Berserkers Team representative posted two entries suggesting that something had changed and expressed readiness to return to the octagon.
– In life, it is not important how hard you hit. What matters is how many blows you can take and keep moving forward, how many you can endure and keep moving forward. That’s how you win. If you know how much you are worth get it and fight for it.
– The vacation is over and you have to go back, who would you like to put together with me?
Rębecki has previously mentioned a fight at the UFC 312 gala in Australia, perhaps the Pole didn’t realize that this event will already take place in early February. It seems that Mateusz Rębecki should now claim a rival from the top fifteen rankings.
Taking into account the names, it seems that the only possible rival is Jalin Turner, other well-known names like King Green are already outside the top fifteen. Grant Dawson, who is Rebecki’s clubmate from American Top Team, should be excluded, and fighters like Benoit Saint-Denis and Paddy Pimblett are no doubt expecting clashes with higher ranked opponents themselves.
