Merab Dvalishvili comments on the news that his friend is training with Umar Nurmagomedov

Merab Dvalishvili reacted to the news that his friend Magdi Amachov is training with Umar Nurmagomedov.

Merab Dvalishvili and Umar Nurmagomedov will meet in the UFC octagon next weekend, January 18 in Los Angeles. The fighters will duel for the championship belt of the cockerel category at UFC 311. Just before the gala, journalist Giorgi Kokiashvili published information that Magdi Amachov friend and former sparring partner Merab is training with Umar.

Merab Dvalishvili reacted to the news and showed understanding to the player, whom he has offered financial assistance and the opportunity to live at home in the past.

– I love him and in the past I simply helped him without expecting anything in return. He is a grown man and he can do what he likes. He is from Dagestan and he loves Islam Makhachev, he loves Khabib Nurmagomedov and he probably loves Umar too.

Merab Dvalishvili closed the topic by suggesting that although he himself would not do so, he understands the situation and there is no conflict between him and Magdi.

– Muslims usually call themselves brothers, so I’m not surprised. It’s his country, his people. I wouldn’t do it, but I’m not going to judge him. I understand it and I’m not angry with him. Everything is ok.
