Michael Chandler will fight in BKFC? American comments

Michael Chandler was asked if he will fight in BKFC in the future. The American fighter in the UFC organization was quick to comment on such a possibility.

Michael Chandler is currently ranked seventh in the UFC‘s lightweight rankings. The American has lost four of his last five fights notching his only victory in a bout against a devastated Tony Ferguson.

However, it is necessary to take the level of Chandler’s rivals, who has faced only fighters from the top of the division up to 70 kilograms. Iron Mike fought Charles Oliveira twice, and also faced Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje.

Michael Chandler, in a recent interview, was asked if he intends to follow the path set by many fighters and if he intends to compete in the BKFC in the future. The former Bellator champion quickly crossed off that possibility.

– I certainly don’t. I have proven more than once that I am a tough guy. I don’t think I need to fight with my bare fists to show that I’m not soft in this game.

Michael Chandler says he has proven time and again that he is a tough fighter and has indicated that he does not want to leave the UFC until he is able to compete with the best.

– Type in my name on youtube or UFC Fight Pass and you will quickly see how tough I am. There are a number of guys who move on to BKFC when they could still fight in the UFC, I am not and will not be one of those fighters.

Unsurprisingly, at the end of the interview, Chandler commented on his possible retirement. The American indicated that he is focused exclusively on the upcoming bout. Michael Chandler appreciated the spectacular nature of bare fist fights and admitted that he enjoys watching them.

– At some point I will hang up my gloves after one of my fights in the UFC. My goal is to end my career earlier than people will expect. My current focus is solely on the next fight, we’ll see who they give me. As for bare fist fights I’m a fan, I just enjoy watching them.
