Michal Martinek ahead of KSW 113
Michal Martinek announced a fight with Artur Szpilka at KSW 113. The experienced Blackbeard recalled the Pole’s performances in boxing.
– Szpilka is very well known. He is a popular European boxer who has made a name for himself on the international stage. He has fought Wilder and won the Polish championship many times. He has fought many prestigious fights that proved to be demanding on a physical and mental level. For me, it just proves that I face someone who will be the ultimate test for me.
Michal Martinek considers the duel with Artur Szpilka a solid test for stand-up skills.
– I thought it could be a good test for my stand-up. Szpilka is a top-class fighter, and I like to box them too. A lot of people think I rely mostly on stand-up, which I’ve proven in recent years. This is my main weapon, so who knows? It will be a high-profile fight and I will be able to show myself to the Polish fans who will watch it. In my opinion, it’s a good matchup.
