Michal Materla may fight in the main event of the KSW EPIC 2 gala. Martin Lewandowski head of the KSW federation has commented on the matter.
Michal Materla is slowly recovering from very serious problems that nearly cost him the amputation of his leg. The former KSW federation champion has been considered its beating heart for years, and recently there have been many questions about whether the Berserkers Team representative will still be able to return to the round cage.
Jaru Swiatek conducted a long interview with Martin Lewandowski co-owner of KSW. During the conversation, of course, could not miss the topic of several fighters we have not seen in KSW for some time. We were talking, among others, about Tomasz Narkuń or Borys Mankowski.
Martin Lewandowski also spoke on the issue of Michal Materla, whose possible appearance he linked to the KSW EPIC 2 gala. The KSW boss suggested that Materla could fight a duel under boxing rules, but for this to happen more information is needed on the current state of health of the experienced fighter.
– The upcoming KSW EPIC, if it were to happen then the only prospect of some kind of fight is the fight of Michal Materla. Please take into account that I don’t have all the data to definitively talk about it yet, but probably Michal will not be able to fight in MMA only boxing. So this is the point thanks to which I will start thinking: Michal – boxing – opponent – KSW EPIC.
