Michal Materla was presented as a fighter for the Oktagon MMA organization at a gala in Brno. The Pole had the opportunity to say a few sentences to the fans.
Michal Materla has been fighting professionally since 2003. The experienced fighter is undoubtedly one of the forerunners of MMA in Poland. Materla has been affiliated with the KSW federation for most of his professional career, but this year he scored his first appearance in the freak FAME organization.
It would seem, therefore, that the Szczecinian will continue his adventure in the younger of the federations, which has recently taken a clear turn towards more athletic competition. Unexpectedly, however, it turned out that the managers of the Berserkers Team representative were negotiating a contract with a new player on the Polish MMA market.
Michal Materla has signed a contract with Oktagon MMA, an organization that is thriving both behind our southern and western borders. The obvious success of Oktagon should be cited here, as it sold out tickets for events held in soccer stadiums in Prague and Frankfurt.
The Oktagon MMA organization introduced Michal Materla to its fans at a gala in Brno. The veteran of the Polish MMA scene appeared in the cage of the Czech-Slovak federation to greet fans and announce his debut.
– I am very pleased to be a part of such an organization that today runs all over Europe and simply makes the best show and fills all the halls. I’m happy to join this organization it’s really special for me that for almost 25 years I’ve been fighting and I’ll have the opportunity to perform in front of such an audience that simply runs all over Europe.
Michal Materla will fight his premiere bout at the Oktagon 86 gala, which will take place in April 2026 in Szczecin, Poland. The berserker is happy that he will perform in front of his own audience.
