Michalski knocked out Damian Janikowski in the first round of their fight at KSW 113 in Lodz, Poland. For Michalski it was his fifth win in a row.

Michal Michalski and Damian Janikowski faced each other in a bout in the middleweight division limit at KSW 113 gala in Lodz, Poland. The fight between KSW veterans was contracted for three rounds. Prior to the event, Michalski also did backup in case of injury to one of the participants in the clash for the championship belt.

The favorite on paper was Michalski, who is considered by many to be the more versatile fighter. However, it has been known for a long time that Damiano can punch, and standing at the Olympic level wrestling is also an excellent attribute. A recap of the Michalski vs Janikowski fight.

Michalski started with accurate punches in the stand-up. Damian Janikowski responded with a nice, accurate kick. Michalski hit back with a quick left straight. Damian responds with a wide but off-target punch. Another successful punches of Michalski.
