Michal Michalski and Damian Janikowski will face each other at KSW 113, the fight between the middleweight division fighters will take place on December 20 in Lodz, Poland.
The XTB KSW 113 gala in Lodz will feature a clash of top middleweight fighters who are known for their impressive fighting style. In this confrontation Michal Michalski (13-5), the number four ranked fighter in this weight class, will face former belt contender and current number six ranked fighter Damian Janikowski (10-8). The duel will be decided on December 20 at Atlas Arena.
Michal Michalski has ten bouts in the KSW round cage. The last time he fought was in August and in an impressive bonus-awarded bout, he defeated Andi Vrtačić. With that victory, he is now on a wave of four great triumphs in a row. Previously, Bartosz Lesko, Dominik Humburger and Erikas Golubovskis succumbed to the force of his skills. Michalski is famous for giving impressive fights and knocking out his rivals. Throughout his career, as many as eight of his thirteen victorious confrontations ended before time, and seven times he triumphed already in the first round. Also seven times he sent his rivals to the boards. In KSW, as many as five times his clashes were recognized as the best fights of the evening.
Damian Janikowski will enter the round cage for the eighteenth time. The last time he competed in it was in May, but he had to recognize the superiority of Laïd Zerhouni. The former middleweight title contender is a strong guarantor of excitement and great fights in the cage. To his credit, he has won two bonuses for best knockouts and as many as four for best fights of the evening. He has been competing in MMA since 2017 and has ten wins to his credit, as many as six of which he won before time – he knocked out his rivals five times and won once by submission.
