Miroslaw Okninski compared two leading European organizations KSW and Oktagon MMA. The experienced coach claims that one of them cheats during judges’ verdicts.
Miroslaw Okninski founder and head coach of the Wilanow Combat Sports Academy commented on the KSW and Oktagon MMA organizations. The experienced trainer compared the two federations. In an interview with FightSport, Okninski suggested that the Czechs managed to enter the German market because they simply get along better with their neighbors.
– They managed to enter the German market, because Czechs with Germans get along better than Poles with Germans, and I think they just did better in the German market. But that doesn’t mean that they entered the German market and are better than KSW… But it doesn’t matter, I don’t care.
Okninski noted that he has been to Oktagon MMA galas in the past. The coach guided Kamil Minda, who fought several fights in the Czech-Slovak organization, at these events. Miroslaw Okninski has learned from these trips, according to the coach, Oktagon MMA cheats during judges’ verdicts so as to favor local fighters.
– I have seen and one organization, I have seen the other. I was at the Oktagon from two years ago and things may have changed there, but cheating they still do when it comes to judging. I even recently talked to fighters who watch Oktagon MMA and they said that they not only cheat Poles, but fighters from all over the world.
