Movsar Evloev responded to the words of Aljamain Sterling, who accused the Russian of doping. Evloev is looking forward to a clash with the American at UFC 307.
Last week, Aljamain Sterling officially dropped serious accusations. The American accused undefeated Movsarov Evloev of doping. Sterling took the liberty of comparing Evloev to notorious doper TJ Dillashaw, a former UFC champion who was caught using banned drugs and suspended for two years.
The American Top Team representative gave himself a few days to respond to Sterling. Movsar Evloev strongly criticized Sterling.
– Brother, I had to wait a long time for him to accept the fight with me, and now he just had no choice but to do it. He is always talking, commenting on everything. I don’t know what the reasons are, but I don’t give a damn. We have doping control here, we pass tests, I’m clean.
– I’m glad I’m a UFC fighter, because when I enter the octagon I have confidence that my opponents have not doped. What he says are words without substance, where I come from they would say that he acts and gossips like a girl. Men don’t talk like that, that’s why I can’t wait to smack his ass. When the cage door closes at UFC 307 he will have to answer for his words.
Movsar Evloev admitted that this is not the first time people have suspected him of using the benefits of illegal boosters. The Ingushetian-born athlete was quick to explain why.
– I’m strong, have good performance and never get tired. I am 100% clean, eat well and get adequate sleep. All this allows me to be at the level I am at now. A lazy athlete will never get to that level. I don’t drink alcohol or smoke, I take care of my diet and train hard. I am always in shape and even if I didn’t train for a few months I would still have an athletic physique.
