Movsar Evloev vs Aaron Pico at UFC gala in Las Vegas

Movsar Evloev will put everything from a high ranking to an undefeated record on the line. Making his UFC debut, Aaron Pico will be the Ingushetian fighter’s opponent.

Movsar Evloev and Aaron Pico are set to face each other on May 17 in the octagon of the UFC organization. The surprising matchup is reported by Western portals citing Vestnik MMA. The clash is expected to be a five-round fight of the evening of the Las Vegas gala at the APEX facility.

Movsar Evloev will risk everything in a clash with an American. A native of Ingushetia, the Russian representative is undefeated in professional MMA and is currently ranked a very high fourth in the featherweight division.

Aaron Pico was regarded at one time as a great talent. The fighter has a very interesting background, as he comes from freestyle wrestling, but also trained in boxing. The 28-year-old Pico at one point had a great run of six wins in Bellator, but it was interrupted by a shoulder injury suffered in a clash with Jeremy Kennedy.

Aaron Pico made his Bellator debut in June 2017 and since then has managed to fight seventeen fights in the American organization, 13 of which he won. The duel with Evloev will be a debut in the UFC organization for Greg Jackson’s charge.

Movsar Evloev will gain little by winning the duel with Pico. The American, on the other hand, can enter the best MMA league in the world with a bang and, in case of a win, cause a lot of chaos in the featherweight division’s ranking.
