Francis Ngannou responded to Dana White’s latest comments regarding his potential return to the UFC. “The Predator” has no intention of revisiting past negotiations and believes the organization’s boss should simply accept the fact that he was unable to keep him.

Ngannou’s name recently came up on the “Nightcap” show. Dana White was asked if there was still a chance to organize a fight between the Cameroonian and Jon Jones. For years, this matchup was one of the most anticipated in the heavyweight division, but it never materialized after “The Predator” left the UFC in early 2023.

White quickly dismissed that scenario, however. He also took another jab at the former champion, calling him a “bad person.”

Ngannou didn’t let those words go unanswered.

“The Predator” pointed out that he had long fought to be allowed to leave the UFC and believes that White should finally admit that he didn’t offer him a good enough deal.

“This is coming from a guy I’ve been trying to leave for over three years, spending a fortune on law firms and devising an exit strategy, while he did everything in his power to make sure I’d never be free, ” Ngannou wrote on X (formerly Twitter). – You have to come to terms with this defeat. There’s no turning back now.

Relations between the two men have long been strained. White even went a step further and admitted on the “BigBoyTV” show that he wanted Ngannou to lose to Ciryl Gane at UFC 270 in 2022.

However, that didn’t happen. The Cameroonian won by unanimous decision that night, and the bout against Gane turned out to be his last fight under the UFC banner.

The situation in the heavyweight division remains very uncertain at the moment. Tom Aspinall is still not ready for a quick return, and the interim belt is currently held by Ciryl Gane. Alex Pereira is calling for a rematch with the Frenchman, though many fighters, including Henry Cejudo, are critical of the idea.

Ngannou, on the other hand, is coming off an impressive victory over Philipe Lins at the MVP MMA 1 event, where he knocked out his opponent in the first round. However, that was a one-off bout.

It is not yet clear whether the two sides will continue their partnership. The situation is further complicated by the fact that Ngannou and the PFL parted ways in March.

At this point, however, one thing seems clear— a return of “The Predator” to the UFC remains highly unlikely, and his feud with Dana White is still far from over.
