The UFC Vegas 100 gala was supposed to feature a rematch, but unfortunately Nicolas Dalby dropped out of the fight card. Elizeu Zaleski quickly agreed to fight a new opponent.
The UFC Vegas 100 gala will take place on Saturday, November 9, and the event was to feature a rematch bout more than nine years after their first bout. Nicolas Dalby and Elizeu Zaleski were to meet again in the octagon. Unfortunately, the Dane fell off the schedule and the planned clash went nowhere.
Elizeu Zaleski lost his last two fights in the UFC octagon, so he is anxious to get back on the winning track. So the Brazilian quickly accepted a replacement so as not to waste his preparation period.
Zaleski’s new opponent will be Zach Scroggin, an undefeated 28-year-old who has so far fought exclusively at the Fighting Alliance Championship regional organization’s galas. Scroggin won the vacant welterweight division belt in May.
The change in the bouts caused quite a reshuffling of the fight card. Of course, the participants of the other bouts have not changed, but simply their order and the layout of the schedule. According to the latest information, the fight of Karolina Kowalkiewicz has dropped to the preliminary card of Saturday’s event.
