The Oktagon organization has announced a European attendance record for an MMA gala. The number of tickets sold for Oktagon 62 at the Frankfurt Stadium beat the result of KSW Colosseum.
The Czech-Slovak organization Oktagon MMA is not slowing down and is recording a phenomenal result of tickets sold for the Oktagon 62 gala in Frankfurt. Today it was announced that as many as 58,000 tickets have been sold for the event.
This means that Saturday’s event at the Eintracht Frankfurt stadium has surpassed the sales result of KSW 39: Colosseum. Octagon MMA will thus knock KSW off the top step of the podium and dethrone as far as the best result on the old continent is concerned.
Of course, galas in Europe as well as MMA in the new era are governed by their own rules, but it should be remembered that both the Czech-Slovak comity and the Poles are still far from the legendary PRIDE Shockwave gala, which took place in August 2002. Back then, more than 91,000 fans were seated in Tokyo’s national stadium.
Oktagon MMA has broken an attendance record in Europe. KSW federation has been dethroned. The Oktagon MMA organization has announced sales success for the Octagon 62 event, with 58,000 tickets sold to date.
