News cooed this morning that has shaken the Polish MMA scene hard. Oktagon MMA has announced that it will hold its first gala in Poland in 2026. The organization led by Pavol Neruda and Ondrej Novotny has an ambitious plan to conquer the Polish MMA market, following galas in Czech and German football stadiums.

Neighbors from across the southern border have apparently decided that this is the right time to seize the opportunity and enter Poland. Oktagon MMA has published a simple graphic of Oktagon Poland, along with the number of the gala. So we already know that the Oktagon 86 gala will take place in 2026 in our country.

Given how often Oktagon holds numbered events it is to be expected that the event will take place in the spring in March or April.

The most recognizable Polish representatives who fight in the Oktagon MMA organization are undoubtedly Krzysztof Jotko, Piotr Wawrzyniak, Kamil Oniszczuk and Mateusz Legierski. Of course, these are not all the white-reds appearing at the Czech-Slovak organization’s galas. Adam Palasz, Karol Kutyla, Mateusz Strzelczyk and Adrian Hamerski also enter the Oktagon MMA cage.

Given all the names, one can expect that Oktagon will reach for one of the stars when entering the Polish scene so as to promote the event in the media. We will soon find out which fighter will join the Oktagon.
