Aleksandr Krasiuk, manager of the world heavyweight champion, passed on information that Usyk wanted to fly out of Poland for a training camp in Spain. However, Polish guards refused to let Oleksandr Usyk’s friend board the plane. The Ukrainian decided to be loyal to his traveling companion and consequently was also detained.
The fistfighter’s wife first posted a post online in which she conveyed that her spouse was safe and the situation was not related to any crime. An hour later, she posted another entry in which she wrote.
– Thank God all is well. No one has been arrested. Usyk is free. It was a misunderstanding.
