Ondrej Novotny head of the Czech-Slovak Octagon MMA organization responded to one of Martin Lewandowski’s recent statements.

The Octagon MMA organization recently broke an attendance record previously held by the KSW federation. A few days later, Martin Lewandowski, co-owner of the Polish organization commented on the subject in an interview with the FanSport portal. Lewandowski said at the time:

– What record? Did they break it? The question is you know, filled or sold, so you know… I know these people. I’ve gotten to know them enough that for them to lie would be nothing new to me. We didn’t get along with OKTAGON in the Czech Republic because they decided they didn’t need us to be happy. They showed the middle finger first, so to speak.

Lewandowski’s words have reached the heads of the Czech-Slovak organization. Ondrej Novotny, the chief executive of OKTAGON MMA, commented on the KSW chief’s words on Denik Sport.

– Martin is no longer the Martin I knew. I feel that something has happened to him and I’m sorry. I think he should be respected for what he did for European and world MMA. The fact that he is having a hard time now is sad to me.

None of what he says is true, unfortunately. I don’t understand why he says such things, that I was there, that we are liars and so on. I could list about ten such things where the opposite is true, but I won’t do it
