Paddy Pimblett has named the ideal opponent he wants to face. The Englishman wants a big fight with Justin Gaethje and has indicated the ideal date for the duel.
Paddy Pimblett is vying for a big fight. The Liverpool fighter has seven straight wins in the UFC, and is one of the most media-savvy names in the lightweight division. The Englishman, in an interview with TNT Sports, mentioned the name of the opponent he very much wants to face. Pimblett realizes that the opponent does not have to accept the proposal at all.
Paddy Pimblett would like to fight Justin Gaethje, who is currently ranked just behind Arman Tsarukyan and Charles Oliveira. The Englishman knows that the American may not be eager for such a juxtaposition.
– If I beat Gaethje, I will be next in line to fight for the belt. He could be my next opponent, but it all depends on whether he agrees to fight.
Paddy Pimblett stressed that he is interested in performing at the October gala in Abu Dhabi. It is known that the venue will also host an event in July however it will be a Fight Night event. This means, therefore, that Baddy is targeting a large, numbered PPV gala.
