Pawel Jozwiak has criticized Cezary Oleksiejczuk. The FEN board member said that the concessionary fare for Oleksiejczuk is over.
“Peace in Polish MMA” was broadcast on the X platform on Thursday evening. In the program, Paweł Jóźwiak, founder and former president of the organization, and Jakub Borowicz, the new president of Fight Exclusive Night, spoke on the upcoming FEN event.
At one point the topic descended on the person of Cezary Oleksiejczuk. Pawel Jóźwiak revealed that the younger Oleksiejczuk brother had rejected a proposed strong opponent, which was to be the extremely experienced Alexander Butenko (56-18-3), known for his appearances at M-1 Global, ACA and RFA events. Jóźwiak indicated that this was the last time the organization would make such concessions and agreed to reject the offer.
– Kuba, because you are speaking gently now. I’ll be a little less diplomatic maybe, no… Czarek just got a good opponent, a very good one. He refused to fight. He said that two weeks is not enough to wrestle him. Our patience with him is over. I told his manager that just because the fight fell through for him at PRIMA, this is the last time I agree to him not accepting a rival. Because he refused a rival for the third time.
– Also, the concessionary fare for Czarek is over, and he will no longer have the opportunity to deny his rival. And coming back to the Brazilian – if one digs deep, apart from his age he is not that weak at all. He has fought good fighters, fought at a distance of 5 rounds, also it will not be a walk.
Pawel Jozwiak stressed that he regrets agreeing to set Oleksiejczuk against 44-year-old Brazilian Rafael Celestino. This is because the FEN organization, on which the fans poured a bucket full of slander, suffered.
– This fight is completely unnecessary for us. I final regret that we agreed to this juxtaposition, because all the fans, all the fans are just hurting us. And that’s not the point. Czarek should now explain himself why he didn’t want to fight a good fighter, and he’s fighting one, not us as an organization. (…) This opponent on paper looks weak, very weak. And you Kuba know this well, because I told you myself, when I found out about this fighter, that there will be one big affair… And I was not wrong, as you can see.
