Petr Yan vs Deiveson Figueiredo main event at UFC Macau gala

Petr Yan and Deiveson Figueiredo will face each other in the main event of a UFC gala to be held in Macau on November 23.

Two former champions of the UFC organization will stand eye to eye in the octagon of the best MMA league in the world. Both fighters are ranked in the top 5 of the cock category rankings. Petr Yan is ranked third while Deiveson Figueiredo is ranked fifth. This very exciting ranking was first reported by journalist Leo Guimares.

Petr Yan was on a one-year hiatus from competing. The Russian returned to action in March at UFC 299 when he defeated Song Jadong after a unanimous judges’ decision. Yan thus broke a series of three defeats in a row. Petr lost consecutively to Aljamain Sterling, Sean O’Malley and Merab Dvalishvili.

Deiveson Figueiredo is a former champion of the flyweight category, who, after moving to the division above, is showing capital form. The Brazilian scored three wins in a row in the cockerel category by seeing off such names as Rob Font, Marlon Vera, Cody Garbrandt.
