PFL announces participants in middle category tournament

The PFL has announced the names of eight participants in the middle category tournament. The quarterfinal fights will take place on Friday, April 18.

The PFL organization is showering fans with new announcements day by day. Today it was time to present the players who will participate in the middle division tournament. Already at the outset it must be admitted that the lineup is very interesting.

Impa Kasanganay is a former PFL welterweight champion, who won the entire season in 2023, and in 2024 qualified for the final where he fell to the boards after a knockout. Similar are the results of Sadibou Sy, the Swedish representative won the entire season of the welterweight division in 2022, and in 2023 qualified for the finals where he lost by submission.

Of course, the tournament could also not miss fighters who are well known to fans of the Bellator organization. Fabian Edwards is a former Bellator title challenger, while Aaron Jeffery and Mike Shipman were also highly ranked by that now-defunct organization.

The stakes are completed by Murad Ramazanov, Dalton Rosta and Josh Silveira. These three players will be underdogs, but it should be remembered that tournaments have their own rules and surprises are easy to come by. The names of two substitutes have also been announced, who will be Jordan Newman and Khalid Murtazaliev.
