Phil De Fries challenges the KSW heavyweight title contenders: “Come try me”

Phil De Fries scored a quick victory over Darko Stosic at KSW 100, after the fight the heavyweight champion challenged the contenders.

Phil De Fries has had an incredible run of eleven successful defenses of the KSW heavyweight division championship belt. The Englishman is comfortably seated on the throne of the royal weight category and has no intention of parting with the title.

Last weekend at the KSW 100 gala in Gliwice, De Fries quickly curbed Darko Stosic ‘s dreams of a successful rematch. The Sunderland fighter defeated the Serbian contender as early as the first round of the second KSW 100 fight of the evening.

Phil De Fries says he has evolved considerably and that he is a different fighter than six years back when he won the Polish organization’s championship belt.

– I am a better fighter today. I am a complete fighter. I approach training more professionally. I try to keep in shape all the time. I am at the peak of my athletic abilities. No more boring fights. I will finish all of them before time, there will be action in all of them.

Phil De Fries challenged the other contenders after his impressive victory over Darko Stosic. The champion is ready for more fights.

– I would like KSW to try to see if it is possible to make a fight with Francis Ngannou. Arek Wrzosek had a great victory today. So maybe a fight with him? It could be anyone, because I am the best heavyweight fighter in the world. Come and try it with me.
