Phil De Fries showed his class and knocked out the helpless Darko Stosic with punches on the ground at KSW 100 in Gliwice.

Phil De Fries and Darko Stosić met in the second fight of the evening of the KSW 100 gala. The duel between the Englishman and the Serb was a rematch bout. At stake in the De Fries vs Stosić fight was the KSW heavyweight championship belt.

Considering the old in MMA in the last two years Stosić was definitely more active than De Fries. However, the experienced Englishman does not have to fight for ranking position, as he has dominated and sat on the throne of the royal division for years.

Contracted for five rounds, the heavyweight bout was expected to provide fans with excitement. The question is whether Darko Stosić will be able to hunt down Phil De Fries with his powerful hammer, or will the Englishman once again serve his rival a wrestling torment?

The beginning of the fight was rather quiet with a small indication for Darko Stosic. Both fighters hit with single punches, however, it was the Serb who hit more often. Phil De Fries spectacularly moves the fight to the mat and floods the rival with punches on the ground. The Englishman ruled out one of the Serb’s arms, however, the latter managed to get up after taking a dozen punches. Phil De Fries quickly topples the rival again where he crowns the works. The helpless Stosić lost the championship fight again.
