Phil De Fries will face another defense of his heavyweight championship belt at the KSW 116 gala in Gorzow Wielkopolski.
As announced in the “No Garda” program on CANAL+, the KSW heavyweight champion and true dominator of his category, Phil De Fries (28-6), will re-enter the KSW cage on March 14 in Gorzow Wielkopolski . At the XTB KSW 116 gala, the Englishman will make another defense of his belt, and his opponent will soon be announced. The clash at the top of the royal weight category will take place in Arena Gorzow.
Phil De Fries has been unstoppable in the cage for years. In his last bout, which took place last October, he experienced difficult moments when he fell to the mat after a punch, but in the end he showed an incredible will to win and smashed Štefan Vojčák.
Now he will stand for the fourteenth time to defend the belt of the royal weight category. The Englishman is the longest reigning champion in the history of the KSW organization. He has been on the heavyweight throne since 2018 and is on an incredible streak of sixteen straight wins. De Fries has fought 34 fights throughout his career, 28 of which he won. The champion is known for his wrestling skills. As many as fifteen times he submitted his rivals, as many times he triumphed in the first round, and in eight fights he won by knockout.
