PIASEK is going all in! Strong words ahead of GROMDA 26

One of the stars of GROMDA 26, “Piasek,” has announced his next fight. Piaskowski is ready to risk everything to earn a title shot!

” I’m ready to go all in to win the championship title. I’m not interested in rivals who lack ambition,” says an incredibly determined Daniel PIASEK Piaskowski ahead of the GROMDA 26: POLISH COLOSSEUM event scheduled for September 4.

Editor’s Note: We’re talking after our morning running workout. To put it vividly, it’s a “waist-deep run”…

Daniel PIASEK Piaskowski: I see running early in the morning as a way to kick off every training day at the gym, but of course also as a way to improve my fitness. I won’t run out of oxygen during a fight, although we all know there are moments of crisis. If a car is running low on fuel, it still has a reserve in the tank. We athletes don’t have that kind of reserve, but I’m able to draw on my last reserves of strength because I’m properly prepared.

How far along are you in your preparations for the event on September 4?

We’re entering a very intense period that will last 10–14 days. We’ll have to really push ourselves so that the last week can be a recovery week—that’s when we’ll have time to recharge. My health is fine; sure, some minor injuries pop up, but they don’t affect either my training or my performance in the ring.

Is there anything you want to improve in your boxing compared to your previous fights?

Sometimes I’d like to take even more risks in a fight, although there are two sides to every coin. Of course, that would be great for the fans, because nothing stirs up excitement like a fighter striving for victory at all costs. On the other hand, you have to keep a cool head so you don’t go too far.

Have you found out who you’ll be fighting at the next GROMDZIA?

No, that’s not an option. I hope it’ll be someone whose victory will bring me closer to becoming a title contender. There will definitely be some international fighters, so maybe one of them?

You’re ranked 10th in the GROMDY rankings, so would it be best to fight someone ranked higher than you?

I was previously ranked seventh or eighth, but after my victory over “Kalash,” I unfortunately dropped in the rankings. My contract with GROMDZ is nearing its end, so I’d like to go all in. If I’m going to be tested, let them give me a top-tier opponent. Then we’ll see if PIASEK can become the GROMDZ Champion, or if it’ll remain just a dream. Because if I were to lose to someone really strong, then it’s time to call it quits and get into coaching.
