Piotr Kuberski at contract talks at KSW office

Piotr Kuberski met with Maciej Kawulski and Wojslaw Rysiewski for contract talks at the KSW federation office.

Piotr Kuberski won KSW‘s interim middleweight belt in March 2025 in a bout with Tomasz Romanowski. The popular Qbear defended his title in August in phenomenal fashion by knocking out Radoslaw Paczuski in the fight of the evening at KSW 109.

Not much later, problems began between the fighter’s management and the KSW federation. It seemed that the situation was a stalemate, and KSW sports director Wojslaw Rysiewski even mentioned that he had lost confidence in Kuberski’s managers.

However, it seems that what happened did not negatively affect the fighter’s relationship with the sporting director and owners, as Piotr Kuberski appeared at the KSW office and smilingly took a photo with Maciej Kawulski and Wojslaw Rysiewski.

Maciej Kawulski posted a photo of his meeting with the interim KSW champion on his IG profile and added a short sentence clearly suggesting that the men got along.

– The future is always a consequence of compromise.

We’ll soon find out whether the compromise will be a unification bout with Pawel Pawlak, a box-office clash with Mamed Khalidov, or perhaps another defense of the interim belt in a possible skirmish with Michal Michalski. KSW Federation has surprised us more than once in the past, so we also can’t rule out the possibility that Piotrek will fight for the welterweight division belt or get a new, strong name from outside the KSW ladder in the 84 kg division.
