Piotr Kuberski ahead of KSW 104 announces that great gladiators will meet in the cage. The ANKOS MMA fighter wants to bring the KSW belt to Poznan.
Piotr Kuberski and Tomasz Romanowski will grace KSW 104 in Gorzow Wielkopolski with their clash. The fighters will face each other in a five-round contracted fight of the evening, at stake of which will be the interim KSW belt in the middleweight category.
Kuberski and Romanowski will face a chance to claim the trophy thanks to the prolonged absence of the injured Pawlak. Piotr Kuberski currently has a perfect run of twelve wins in a row.
Piotr Kuberski talked about training and preparation in the ANKOS MMA club. The popular Qbear has represented the team founded by Andrzej Koscielski for many years.
– I have been preparing for fights at Ankos MMA club for eight years. Here I focus mainly on wrestling, on hard work. I train at Ankos several times a week, as I try to gain knowledge still from other coaches. I’ve been so many years in this sport, and all the time I think I can do very little. I know how much more I would have to learn to compete with some. What’s fascinating about the world of MMA is that a person has already had many years of hard training, many fights, easier, harder, but all the time he is developing, and all the time I want to absorb this knowledge as a fighter.
Piotr Kuberski knows his rival well, with whom he has had the opportunity to spar many times in the past. Qbear has also followed Tomasz Romanowski’s fights in KSW and appreciates the tough character of his rival, who fought to the end despite his broken hands.
– I’m definitely bigger, I definitely have a longer reach, but Tomek will probably be able to neutralize it well. He usually fights with those taller than himself and is good at it, so for him it will be nothing new. I’ll be another head to behead for him, but I’ll try to do my best not to let that happen.
– Let’s remember that Tomek fought Damian Janikowski, my previous opponent, with two broken hands. I don’t know how I would have reacted and fought with broken hands. I think I would have thrown the white flag and announced surrender, while Tomek, despite his broken paws, walked forward and lost not by time but by decision.
Piotr Kuberski is excited about the opportunity to perform in Gorzow Wielkopolski and promises that many of his fans will attend the event. Kuberski says that great gladiators will meet in the KSW cage on March 8.
– I am very happy that I will be able to show my best side. I’m happy that I once again have a main event, I’m happy that I will fight for the belt of the largest organization in Europe. This is a great honor for me and I will do my best to show my best side, so that the fans will remember this fight, so that it will be loud and memorable. I will certainly do everything to bring the belt to Poznan. I will also do everything to give it back as late as possible, or not at all.
– Surely there will be a setting in the stands, there will be drums, there will be megaphones, there will be a cool fiesta, and great gladiators will meet in the cage. One from Szczecin, the other from Poznan. We meet halfway, in Gorzow Wielkopolski. It will be a big event.
