Piotr Kuberski indicated which American Top Team fighter gave him the biggest problem during sparring. The KSW fighter stated that Magomed Umalatov had spoiled his blood.

Piotr Kuberski is currently in the USA, where he is once again sparring on the mats of American Top Team. Kuberski will fight for the interim championship belt in his next fight in the KSW cage. So it should come as no surprise that he has traveled overseas in search of strong sparring partners.

Piotr Kuberski was an online guest on the Octagon Live program aired on the Kanał Sportowy. First, Piotr Kuberski stressed that he is not one of the fighters who spend a lot of time on social media. The ANKOS MMA fighter also added that sometimes he even skips UFC events. Qbear was keen to point out that he does not have a full understanding of who presents what level.

– I don’t follow social media so much and who is fighting where. Even sometimes I don’t watch the UFC anymore because I don’t want to get up so late and watch fights in the morning.

It turns out that Kuberski was most impressed by Magomed Umalatov, a PFL play-off finalist in the welterweight category. It was the fighter from the lower weight division who gave Piotr the most problems in sparring.

– He most of all. With him I had such the biggest problem. Despite the fact that he’s from a lower category, apparently style makes a fight. His style was so out of character for me, that somewhere in there he spoiled my blood a bit.

– But it is known … once it’s better, once it’s worse. As in fighting, as everywhere. Sometimes it’s better, sometimes it’s worse. Just then it was worse, although it wasn’t that I was wired, but I just got worse. I’ll call it that.
