Piotr Strus will fight for the championship belt of the middleweight division of the FNC organization. The Pole will face Dani Barbir at the FNC 23 gala in Belgrade.
Piotr Strus will face a chance to win the championship belt of the Balkan FNC organization. The Pole will return to competition after losing to Cezary Oleksiejczuk and will appear at the big FNC 23 gala in Belgrade on May 24.
Strus will therefore fight a bout abroad, however his opponent will not be a Serb, but a Croatian. Piotrek will face Dani Barbir an undefeated fighter who has a win over KSW federation fighter Andi Vrtacic on his record.
The representative of American Top Team Zagreb has already fought a fighter from Poland once. In May 2023, Barbri knocked out Arkadiusz Maziakowski. Noteworthy is the fact that the talented Croatian has finished his last five rivals before time.
Piotr Strus has definitely more experience than his rival. It’s worth noting that the 36-year-old Pole has been fighting professionally since 2010 and has fought against the true giants of the European middleweight and welterweight division scene.
Undoubtedly, the peak of Piotr Strus’ career came at the beginning of his adventure with the ACA (formerly ACB) organization, where thanks to impressive victories before his time he got a chance to fight for the middleweight belt. Unfortunately Piotrek didn’t manage to reach for the title, losing a five-round battle with the strong Albert Duraev at the gala in Russian Krasnodar.
Dani Barbir is just building his name however, he is undoubtedly hungry for success, and winning the FNC championship belt in the up to 84 kilogram category could open the door to a great career for him.
