Rafal Haratyk and Bartosz Lesko will face each other in a fight for the welterweight division belt at KSW 111 in Třinec.
The XTB KSW 111 gala will feature a bout at the top of the welterweight division, with Rafal Haratyk (20-5-2) facing his second defense of the championship belt. His opponent will be the impressive duelist Bartosz Lesko (15-5-2), number four in this category. The championship bout will take place on October 18 in Třinec, at the Werk Arena.
Rafal Haratyk entered the KSW organization with a bump, and in October 2023 he sent Ivan Erslan to the boards already in the first round of their bout. After this victory, the popular “Polish Tank” competed in the championship tournament, won two fights in it and won the welterweight belt. He made his first defense at the XTB KSW 100 gala and knocked out Marcin Wojcik. He was supposed to return to the cage in April, but an injury eliminated him from his fight with Ibragim Khuzhigaev. Haratyk has been competing in professional MMA since 2010, and to date has fought 27 fights, 20 of which he has won. Seven times he won by sending his rivals to the boards, and five times he triumphed by submission. Haratyk gathered experience fighting not only in Poland, but also in South Africa, France, Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus. Among others, he competed under the flags of EFC, Babylon MMA, ACA, FEN and Ares organizations, where he was a contender for the middleweight title.
Bartosz Lesko has seven fights under his belt in the KSW organization and is currently after two straight victories. He last competed in March and defeated Maciej Różanski. Before that, he gave a great fight against Dominik Humburger, with whom he won on points and earned a bonus for the best performance of the evening. For Lesko, it was also a return to welterweight, where he remains undefeated in KSW. The representative of the Mighty Bulls club has so far fought 22 fights, with fifteen triumphs and two draws. The Gdynia native has won most of his victories before time. Seven times he submitted his opponents, and twice he saw them off with punches.
