Robert Bryczek reacts after defeat: It wasn’t our night

Robert Bryczek broke his silence after his last UFC appearance. The Pole will not count the weekend in Perth, Australia, as a success – his duel with Cam Rowston ended in a clear defeat.

Fans had high hopes after Bryczek’s earlier victory, who effectively knocked out Brad Tavares. This time, however, the scenario was completely different. The Australian controlled the course of the fight from the beginning, dominating both in the stand-up and the ground.

The Pole was unable to find an answer to his rival’s style and eventually lost by unanimous decision to the judges. This is Bryczek’s second defeat in the UFC octagon.

After the fight, the fighter took to social media, where he addressed his performance in frank terms.

– This was not our night. We had a long journey home ahead of us. You can guess in what moods. When we return, I will write a few words from myself. Thank you for your support and forgive me for failing. Fighting in Australia was a risk that ultimately did not pay off. I take it on my shoulders and we move on,” wrote Robert Bryczek.

Despite the disappointing result, the Pole shows that he can accept defeat on the cage and learn from it. The key now will be how he reacts to the setback and when we will see him in the octagon again.
