Robert Ruchała has spoken out ahead of his fight with Kacper Formela at the KSW 100 gala. The interim KSW featherweight champion appreciates his opponent’s level of sportsmanship.
Robert Ruchała will face Kacper Formela in another defense of the interim belt of the up to 66 kilograms division. The talented fighter from Nowy Sacz will fight a fighter who until recently was the champion of the FEN organization at the KSW 100 anniversary gala.
Kacper Formela made his KSW debut in May of this year, and while he is a well-known fighter among hardcore MMA fans, Sunday supporters may simply not be familiar with him. Robert Ruchała brought up the subject in an interview with Colosseum.
– People here don’t know Kacper yet, because he’s only had one fight here, but Kacper has a tremendous level, and it’s going to be a very fun, evenly matched fight, and I think you’ll definitely enjoy it and there will be fireworks.
According to Ruchała, the duel with Kacper Formela is the next step in his career. The 26-year-old fighter will fight his ninth fight in the KSW federation’s round cage.
– The way I look at it is that he is the next target, the next opponent who will face me to take the belt from me, and I will focus on defending the belt. I generally approach every fighter as the next target. It’s like I’m climbing the next step. I treat it as a further way to the highest goals.
