Robert Ruchala recalled his first visit to a KSW gala. The fighter talked about his dreams of winning the KSW championship belt, which came true years later.
Robert Ruchała will fight Kacper Formela at the KSW 100 gala. On November 16 in Gliwice, Ruchala will defend the interim KSW featherweight championship belt. The fighter from Nowy Sacz addressed his fans on social media.
Robert Ruchala posted two photos taken 11 years apart. In one he stands with his championship belt, while in the other, as a teenager, he poses for a photo next to a banner depicting the KSW belt. Ruchała recalled his first visit to a KSW gala and talked about his dreams.
– Today I’m sharing with you photos, between which there is 11 years of difference. 11 years ago I dreamed of the KSW championship belt, and today I have it! It’s amazing how far you can get when you have strong motivation and constantly strive for your goals.
– As Nelson Mandela said, “At first it seems impossible until you make it happen.” Don’t give up in your dreams! Every day is a step closer to fulfillment. The shirt has been with me since that moment.
Robert Ruchała has so far fought eight fights in the KSW federation’s round cage. The young fighter has won seven of them. Ruchała lost only to Salahdin Parnasse, a double KSW champion and one of the organization’s biggest stars.
Ruchała has a clear task ahead of him at the KSW 100 gala, he has to defeat Kacper Formela and hope that Salahdine Parnasse drops back down to the featherweight category after the KSW 101 bout. This would mean for Ruchala a chance for a rematch with the incredible Frenchman.
