Robert Ruchala and Kacper Formela will face each other in another championship bout, which will be part of the fight card of the XTB KSW 100 gala in Gliwice.
Robert Ruchała (10-1) interim KSW featherweight champion, will face Kacper Formela (18-4), undefeated for four years, in his defense of the belt. The bout will take place on November 16 at the XTB KSW 100 gala at PreZero Arena Gliwice.
Robert Ruchała has eight fights behind him in the round cage. Throughout his career, the representative of Grappling Krakow won ten confrontations and only once – in a fight for the belt with Salahdine Parnasse – had to acknowledge the superiority of his rival. In his last bout, which took place at the XTB KSW 94 gala, he instantly knocked out Patryk Kaczmarczyk and won the interim featherweight title.
The fighter from Nowy Sacz is a guarantee of excitement in the cage. To date, he has won two bonuses for best fight of the evening, two for best submission and one for best knockout. Ruchala in the round cage has defeated such fighters as Damian Stasiak and Lom-Ali Eskiev, among others. He won five times before time, twice by knockout, and three times by submission of his rivals.
Kacper Formela has had a successful debut in the KSW organization. At the XTB KSW 94 gala, he defeated Ahmed Vila and made his way to the fourth place of the organization’s ranking of the best featherweight fighters. With his latest triumph, Formela is on a wave of nine straight wins. He remains undefeated as of 2020.
The representative of the Might Bulls Gdynia club comes from a karate background, in which he won, among other things, the world title. He has been competing in MMA since 2015, winning the championship belt of the FEN organization in 2022 and defending it three times. To date, he has fought 22 fights, eighteen of which he won. Ten times he won before time, and six times he did it already in the first round. Kacper most often knocks out his rivals, but has also won by submission.
