Roberto Soldić has parted ways with ONE! Is it time for a move to the UFC?

Roberto Soldić is a free agent once again. The former two-time KSW champion announced on Friday that his contract with ONE Championship has officially expired.

The 31-year-old Croatian was not among the most active fighters after parting ways with the Polish federation. Between 2021 and 2025, he competed under the ONE Championship banner only three times. His debut fight against Murad Ramazanov ended in a no contest, and “Robocop” was subsequently knocked out by Zebaztian Kadestam.

However, Soldić reminded everyone of his immense potential in his most recent bout for the Asian giant. The Croatian defeated Dagi Arslanaliev in spectacular fashion, knocking him out with a single punch. Later, in September 2025, he made another appearance in Poland, where he knocked out Tomasz Adamek in a boxing match.

The former KSW champion confirmed via social media that he has ended his partnership with ONE. “Robocop” thanked the organization for their years together, while also announcing that he hasn’t said his last word in combat sports.

– Thank you for this journey. My time with ONE has come to an end, as my contract has officially expired. I want to thank ONE Championship from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity and the incredible experiences. Every fight, every challenge, and every moment spent in the cage has made me a better fighter and a better person.

– I’ve gained so much more than just fights. I’ve gained knowledge, respect, and memories that will stay with me for the rest of my life. I thank my fans for their unconditional support during both the best and the toughest moments. It’s because of you that I’m still fighting. This isn’t the end. It’s the beginning of what’s to come. See you soon,” Soldić said in a statement posted on social media.

The Croatian fighter enjoyed his greatest successes before his move to ONE Championship. In KSW, he won eight of his nine bouts and earned the welterweight and middleweight championship belts.

His only loss in the Polish organization came at the hands of future UFC champion Dricus Du Plessis, who knocked out Soldic. However, “Robocop” needed just six months to get his revenge. In their second bout, the Croatian finished his opponent before the final bell and regained the welterweight championship belt.

One of the most intriguing questions now is what the future holds for Soldic. The former two-time KSW champion is a free agent, and his statement clearly suggests that he has no intention of retiring just yet.
